If you want healthy plants keep looking By: Marion Lanham, on April 15, 2017 Pros: Cons: "This product is good at stopping the slugs and snails but my plants all started to die within 48 hours of putting this stuff down. I followed the instructions to the letter but as well as smelling terrible it seems to suck the moisture from the plants. My strawberry plants started to turn brown within days so I had to remove the product which seemed to do the trick. I have replaced it with pennies which work like copper tape, now my plants are looking healthy again. |

Not tough enough for Maidenhead slugs By: fastmort, on June 11, 2016 Pros: Cons: "I had very high hopes for this item as it had good reviews from others but I suspect our garden slugs have been training with the SAS as they are still to be found munching my bedding plants despite a heavy application round the plant. I haven't seen any slugs actually crossing the woolly barrier but, unless my slugs have mastered levitation..... |
