As advertised By: TL, on February 20, 2013 Pros: Cons: "As others have confirmed, this is a direct substitute for the old Chubb lock. It fits perfectly and needs no adjustment and I didn't need to change the old striker plate from the old lock. The replacement took about 10 minutes. The hardest part was extracting the old lock. My solution for this, after removing all the screws, was to attach a G-clamp to the extended lock bolt and then tap it out. Oh, and overnight delivery! |

Holden, on April 21, 2012 Pros: Cons: "This Union lock is the exactly same product as the Chubb 5-lever mortice rollerbolt sashlock that it replaced, rebranded as Union - the Chubb brand is no longer used by the parent company for locks. The old one lasted 25 years and I'm expecting just the same of the new one. Of course it fitted perfectly into the door and doorframe - dimensions identical, about a 10 minute job to change over.
