Amazon's description made it very easy to compare with my worn out lock and it proved a simple job to fit without any alterations to the door or jam. The only awkward bit was reversing what Union call the bolt assembly to fit the handedness of my door. The old design was easy as the bolt assembly was symetrical whereas the new one necessitated fitting the spring underneath the bolt assembly after it has been turned over. Not easy if you have a handful of thumbs... |
