This is a water based varnish. I followed advice ... By: G. Jones, on August 15, 2017 Pros: Cons: "This is a water based varnish. I followed advice and chose to dilute the first coat (1 part water to 10 parts varnish) to allow for a smoother finish. (1st picture) I was painting onto pine which is very porous. The final picture is after 3 coats. Personally I find the colour to be too yellow/ green for my taste. |
