The design is such that the rat is killed instantly - much more humane that poison and far more sensible than catching a live creature. The bait area of the trap remains static and the small platform around it is the pressure trigger that sets off the trap. As the lightest pressure will set off this trigger the trap is most effective at serving the purpose it was created for. Don't waste your money on an inferior contraption: this trap works. |
