It does suffer from 400mm sniping at each end of the timber unless you push the timber down to stop it lifting as it starts and finishes the pass. You get used to it. |

It is great to be able to pass various pieces through the planer and end up with them all the same thickness so easily. The quality of the planed surface is great but don't expect it to make twisted wood flat and straight just by passing it through, you need a few other tricks to do that, which you will find on YouTube. Really solid and quite heavy, which I guess it needs to be in order to prevent the body distorting and... |
