these spirit dyes worked best for me By: danny jones, on December 12, 2016 Pros: Cons: "Didn't know too much about stains and wanted to match up some wood, these spirit dyes worked best for me, nice rich colour. The only problem I found was when it came to varnishing, the spirt dye sits on the top of the wood so you have to be very careful when sanding between coats of varnish especially on corners/ edges where you might have a little more stain to catch and remove with sand paper. Having said that and taking care they worked well for me. |
