This stuff is great - it really does make mortar considerably less water ... By: coofercat, on September 3, 2018 Pros: Cons: "This stuff is great - it really does make mortar considerably less water absorbent (you can see water just roll off rather than sort of resting on the surface). I'm using it with read-mix mortar for a few bits on a water feature, and it seems to be working very well. The ready mix usually dries a sort of mid/dark grey, but with this it lightens up a huge amount. The more of this you put in, the whiter the mortar gets (hopefully it'll weather down a bit and blend in to the existing a bit over time though). |
