Poor quality and poor value By: Bob615, on September 11, 2018 Pros: Cons: "I had to buy this to replace a Byron bell push which failed after only a few months. The original bell chime, incidentally, is not loud enough and is a real faff to change the chime melody. - you have to dismantle the bell push to access the chime selector. This is a badly designed and expensive product. |

Superb finish and works without any fuss, although I did have to replace the power cell; it was dead. That was a minor problem. Having a UPVC door, I secured the bell-push centrally, with screws, on a hardwood plinth, then secured the assembly to the door with double sided tape; more secure that way. The manual is available on-line, which is useful if you get stuck. Good price, good quality, extremely good on delivery too. |
