Lovely finish, better than stain By: M. Roberts, on March 6, 2016 Pros: Cons: "This stuff is ace - the only thing I've found other than stain to give light wood like pine a nice dark walnut finish. The main advantage over stain is that it's a really even finish, whereas stain can be really blotchy depending on the wood. Just be sure to use a fine steel wool to apply it liberally, and then a second fresher bit of steel wool to buff it to a nice even finish. |
