It's very effective, not too noisy and has infinitely variable power (11-36 minutes' operating time low-high). You know when the battery needs recharging because there's a significant drop in power - it recharges in well under two hours. It's small, light (2.8kgs), well balanced and easy to handle. Great for a large garden where corded ones are no good (instantly ready and no fiddling around with cable)... |

A Good but Over Priced Product By: Scottish-picker, on June 22, 2014 Pros: Cons: "The Bosch lithium battery mower is a great well designed machine which is typical of Bosch. The batteries which come with the mower don't seem to add much onto the price and are easy to use. After using them for a year they don't last as long so I had to purchase additional batteries. There is little competition so Bosch can charge as much as they like. As a customer who usually holds Bosch in high regard I would expect them to treat customers more fairly. |

I use this weekly and have done throughout this season. I cut my Mothers lawn, my friends lawn who has alzheimer's and cannot do his garden anymore, also cut my own lawn and sometimes at the allotment. So these batteries get a fair bit of use through the weekends. I get about 45min to an 1 hour of use from the 2.6Ah battery and perhaps 1.25Hours from the larger 4.5Ah unit.
