New Blue Screw Through Yew (and other types of wood). By: Mr. C. West, on November 17, 2015 Pros: Cons: "They're as quick as Auger bits, but a lot cheaper and easier to carry around. You need a decent drill with a low gear to maintain the torque while these things bury themselves into the wood. If your drill gives up half way, you won't be able to get it out. The hex shank works properly and the wallet protects the bits - although they do occasionally fall out of the top. The blue paint on the blade wears away which reduces bling factor, but is a useful indicator of how much life it has left... |
