I bought it to check the position of electric cables in the kitchen when fitting new units, according to the sensor there cables running everywhere but in the places I new there were cables it did not sense anything. Don't buy it if you need to check for electrical cables safely. |

Terrible By: J, on May 10, 2015 Pros: Cons: "This stud sensor seems to fail on all accounts. Never finding studs correcty or accurately or at all. I purchased the Zircon StudSensor e50 Electronic Stud Finder after this and am very happy with the Zircon, far superior and actually does what its supposed to. |

Save your money. By: NannaB, on March 2, 2015 Pros: Cons: "Bought 2 of these (one for each son) to say I am disappointed is a bit of an understatement. In short they just don't work and can not be relied on. I bought them because I was concerned about them drilling into buried cables etc. By the time one of them came to use it the 12 month warranty was out, begs the question I suppose did they need one anyway. I tested the 'stud detector' on a ceiling and with half inch of gyproc to penetrate and it would just not register. Second test... |
