Very useful to have the thin jaws but... By: mh, on September 27, 2018 Pros: Cons: "I have had my original Bahco 9029 for many years and it has been incredibly useful for plumbing and all sorts of other jobs. It lives in my go-to tool bag. Sometimes I have had a need for thinner jaws and I nearly purchased another set to machine the jaws down, then I saw these. They are unfortunately not as well made as my original ones. The jaw wobbles from side to side whereas the originals do not and a file reveals the jaws to be softer than the originals. |

Bahco is the best By: John Packham, on May 7, 2017 Pros: Cons: "I've used these before and this was to replace one that was lost/stolen at work. The metal doesn't wear, the threads don't stick, the jaws don't bend when a lot of pressure is used. The reversible jaw is very useful when trying to unscrew steel pipes from threaded connectors (for example). Well worth paying a bit extra for as it'll last you forever. |

It goes to that maximum size without any issues and the slimline jaws are a blessing in tight areas. Adjustability is good and once set, it stays there, unlike some cheaper brands which constantly need resetting. Without doubt it is an excellent tool and is about the only 8 inch adjustable spanner that can open to such a wide... |
