A hammer that should take abuse. By: M Parks, on December 15, 2018 Pros: Cons: "It's a hammer. Seems to be good quality but I wouldn't say it has any standout features. It's at a mid range price but there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that would perform just as well, so paying the extra you would have to like the look and feel of the product. I would expect it to last a long time in normal use. Probably I would have chosen the 16oz version if I was buying again as most of the work I do doesn't warrant a hammer of this weight. |

Used it a bit now and the sky blue portion of the handle is looking a bit grubby but overall i still rate it on looks...even though its just a hammer. Good for demo work and knocking big roofing nails in. Well balanced and a decent sized striking face. Always prefer hammers with a solid shaft. One miss hit with a fiberglass handled hammer and it gets chipped waaaaay too easy. Will probably purchase the Ox 28oz rip claw hammer at some point in the future. |
