Not a nice colour By: cs, on March 31, 2016 Pros: Cons: "Another tin that will gather dust unused. I tested this on a bit of pine I had lying around. I'm glad I did test first, otherwise I would have had a lot of sanding to do. No-one uploads pictures for these paints & dyes. So here is one (top half has had 2 coats, ignore the holes and scratch marks - thats not the paints fault!). I wouldn't call it light oak, there are strongs hints of darkness/black (almost a green hue) on the left & right hand sides that don't look nice. So will have to try another. |

Turns Pine Dark Green - AVOID By: The Spaniel, on January 6, 2016 Pros: Cons: "One of the worst products I have ever purchased - thank god I tested it on a scrap first. It literally turned pine a dark green colour - like fencing creosote. I almost spoiled £400 worth of brand new door with it. The colour of the dye liquid itself is a very dark green - almost like pulped grass. I even tested some on a scrap of European oak and it still have a green hue. Total garbage - I will never buy one of these range ever again - £9 in the trash. |
