Used for a few months now to trim young conifer hedges. By: MATT, on August 7, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Got a replacement & New one works perfectly. thanks! previous review: Used for a few months now to trim young conifer hedges. Doesn't seem to cut very easily, maybe blades aren't sharp , also after 3 months makes a hi pitch whiring / squeeking sound which doesn't feel healthy. Usually cant be bothered to return stuff but Will see what Customer services say on that problem. I have other flymo products which are good so maybe just a one off faulty item |

I particularly wanted a hedge cutter to trim the hedges however it also trimmed the Leylandii lightly as well. I needed a hedge cutter that was light to hold and a suitable size and this is certainly light. Battery lasted over an hour when charged. Easy to insert the battery. Safety cut out feature when you release your grip. Very satisfied customer. Delivery service excellent. |

Charger failed By: Barlie, on February 3, 2017 Pros: Cons: "As directed I have tried to recharge the battery during the winter,however, the plug/transformer has failed and so a re-charge is not possible, rendering the cutter useless. Had the charger system not failed I would have given the cutter 5 stars - last autumn it worked perfectly - it is not too heavy and cuts hedges as I would expect. |
