Decent enough, but flawed By: G. Jones, on November 2, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Decent enough punch down tool, but only succeeds in cutting the wire on cat 6 cable about 1 in 30 uses. If the cable is high quality it fails 100% of the time. Fortunately it does have another blade which is great for this. However, you can't punch down with it, just cut. So I use the non-cutting punch down (it's better) on all the terminals, then swap the ends over and then use the separate blade to cut off all the loose ends. |
