Once applied and properly allowed to dry, it will protect wood from anything hot (provided you don't want to burn it!) I use a varnish roller to apply it, as many thin coats as you can manage BUT you must allow them to fully dry before reapplication - at least 24 hours. When you have finished, be very careful for a week or so to allow it to properly harden. If you do that it's bullet-proof! I reapply annually... |
